Of Wildflowers

When I was young,
I heard so much about being
a child/man/woman of God
but then I grew up and all
I ever wanted
was to be of wildflowers,
of willow, toad, and bone,
of swallowtails, sow thistle
and cedar, of birds.

One spring day I got heavily inspired to create this scrapbook in video form; it did very little after I posted it on YouTube (the algorithm hated it), but it’s still one of the most aesthetically pleasing visual creations I’ve ever made (and it took a lot of effort to put together) 🌸
