winter solstice

It’s official: winter is here and Christmas is almost upon us! And believe it or not, I’ve watched almost all of my favorite Christmas movies, and I’m done making gifts. Done making gifts before the last hours of Christmas Eve, truly a miracle.

Under our tree is looking full this year, and the tree itself has a total of five strands of Christmas lights wrapped around it. At night it absolutely glows, and Dad has said on multiple occasions that it looks like it belongs in a movie.

I’m working on using every last day to post Christmas content on my YouTube page, because this seasonal aesthetic must be taken full advantage of!

It’s official, as of 5:45am on March 14th I’m out of my Caamp’s 26 year, and into my Passenger’s 27 year.

So although at 26 I did not get married just for kicks (and move out to Alaska way up there), at 27 I do know that I don’t know how to please everybody all of the time, ’cause everybody’s always fucking changing their minds.

braids

Recently I got incredibly bored with myself. You know when Bruce Springsteen said:

I check my look in the mirror / wanna change my clothes, my hair, my face

That’s been the mood. So I started scrolling Pinterest and pinning all the braids and simple updos, and why did it take me so long to start learning this stuff?

Crisis averted. I did not have to cut my hair, or mistakenly bring back the bangs, I simply needed to learn to show off what I have.

She’s cute, she’s classy, and she stays put all day long 🤍
